COAGS Facilities

The Colorado Outdoor Adventure Guide School is located on a beautiful private ranch near historic Cripple Creek, Colorado (about 50 miles SW of Colorado Springs, CO). The Gold Camp Ranch is 10,200 feet in elevation on the south side of Pikes Peak, the most famous mountain in America.

You will stay in log sided cabins or tents. The lodge and camp settings are designed to give students exposure to different types of outdoor camp situations. While these facilities may seem rustic, we assure you that all accommodations are very comfortable and enjoyable. Our school is dedicated to provide you the education and practical experience necessary for a successful career as a guide, as well as an expert outdoor person.
