  • Idaho
    Outfitters needs help now, We need 2 cooks, 2 packers and 3 or 4 guides for fall and possibly to start in the Summer. We are located in Riggins, Idaho…… Cooks at 1250/mo, 3 week periods, archery and rifle, would like couple for cooking/packing, 65 head of horses and mules, guide/packer, all deckers, barrel/basket assistant guide/packer at $100 per day, r&b, need, females OK.     Outdoor Guides Fly fishing, Hiking, archery Located on the western slope of the Rocky Mountains in the Smith Fork River valley, Smith Fork Ranch offers exceptional fly fishing for all levels of fishermen and women with six ponds stocked with brook trout, browns, rainbows and cutthroats and three miles of the Smith Fork of the Gunnison running through the ranch. In addition SFR has direct access into the national forest and wilderness areas for hiking or riding horseback to backcountry streams and ponds. For big river fishing, the gold medal fishing waters of the Gunnison are 25- 30 minutes from the ranch. Walk and Wade or float trips may be organized for guests on the Gunnison, Roaring Fork, Taylor and other major nearby rivers. Our guest season runs from May 24th through October 14th.
    In addition to first rate fishing opportunities the ranch offers archery a range as well as a course through the woods, a nine-hole disc golf course and hot air ballooning. Off ranch, we offer river rafting in the Gunnison Gorge and sporting clays and excursions to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Contact COAGS for more information.

    Experienced personable Wrangler wanted to lead trail rides on beautiful ranch SE of Steamboat Springs CO. Eve dinner jeep tours part of responsibilities. Mid June thru Mid August. Hourly wages based on exp. Tips & Accommodations neg. Need cook, $120.00/day plus tips. Must be able to plan menu within budget and do shopping. Horse exp. a plus Room and Board.     Wrangler with the possibility of moving up, savy horseman able to wrangle horses in the national forest (Bridger Teton NF), pack in camps and camp jack chores. Eight day hunts, 7.5 miles in and 9.5 miles. Known for good wages. Serious Applicants Only. Contact COAGS for more information.

    Needs assistant guide, Aug. 10-Sept. 15, moose, black bear, dall sheep, possible brown bear, Kenia Peninsula, fly into Anchorage, horseback, packing, wall tents & spike camps, daughter is top guide so must be able to work with her w/no issues, caping skills needed, $125 per day for top guide prospect, less if green, room. board, tips, good opportunity to grow into the business.     4,000 acres, WT and Turkey
    1/2 archery, 1/2 rifle, hunts mostly Nov & Dec, 80 hunters/yr

  • Alabama
    Needs whitetail guides. Located on Mississippi/Alabama line;; 16,000 acres; Rifle hunts Nov.18 thru Jan. 31, $80-100 per day(7 days a week) + room and board + tips; will pay more if can cook breakfast; Needs someone now that can operate tractor for food plots; 150 food plots.   • Arizona
    Winter trail rides in an affluent area of Arizona. Men and women wanted five days a week with two days off. Western attire a must. Offer 1 hour, 1.5 hour and 1/2 day rides into the Sonoran Desert. The winter season will start mid-October with managers and some guides needed at that point. Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks are busy times so we can not give time off during those holidays. We do not work Thanksgiving or Christmas Day but are busy the days before and after. The season will end around May 1st. summer employment in Central Idaho may be available for those interested.
    Wages vary and are based on experience, position and number of years with Cave Creek Trail rides. Base wage starts at $65.00/day. Employees are expected to work a minimum of 5 days a week with some evening sunset rides. Tips are generous in this affluent area. • Workman’s Compensation insurance is provided • Pay-day is on the 5th of each month. • One-two days off per week • Transportation to and from corrals will be your responsibility. • One week paid vacation at end of season if term of employment is met
